Terms & Conditions

By using the Web Site, ordering products from us or registering on banksidetackle.co.uk, you agree to the terms of this agreement, and you re-affirm that agreement every time you use the Web Site or any of our services.

1. Klarna

"In order to offer you Klarna's payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna's own privacy notice."

2. Ordering

After submitting an order via our website we will send you an order acknowledgement by email confirming receipt of your order and details of the goods that you have ordered. Please note this email is an acknowledgement and is not an acceptance of your order. Any email or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order placed by you does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order.

Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between us will take place when the goods you have ordered have been despatched to you, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with our cancellation and returns policy. We reserve the right to not to supply goods and to cancel your order in the event of a pricing error or omission.

All goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available in stock, Bankside Tackle will inform you as soon as possible and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

3. VAT

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT, if applicable, at the standard rate. Should the applicable VAT rate change, Bankside Tackle reserve the right to adjust retail prices accordingly. For items which are placed on back order, VAT will be charged at the applicable rate at time of dispatch.

4. Returns

Subject to the right of Consumers to return goods for refund under The Supply of Goods and Services Act and Distance Selling Regulations, Bankside Tackle does not sell products on a trial basis. Customers are strongly advised to check suitability and specifications of products before ordering. You have the right to cancel your purchase at any time either before or up to 7 days following the day you receive the goods. The regulations require the customer to contact us in writing to notify us of the intent to cancel/return the order. We cannot accept returns/cancellations if we have not been notified before this period has lapsed. If an order is cancelled within this cooling off period but has already been despatched, we would expect the goods to be returned to us before we processed the refund. We do not refund carriage costs. We also expect goods to be returned in an unopened condition with the original packaging and contents. Original proof of purchase must also be returned.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Bankside Tackle at your own cost.

5. Warranty

If the goods supplied to you are damaged on delivery, you should notify Bankside Tackle in writing via the e-mail address or telephone number within 7 days. If the goods supplied to you develop a defect while under warranty or you have any other complaint about the goods, you should notify the Supplier in writing via the e-mail address or telephone number as soon as possible of the date you discovered the damage, defect or complaint.

6. Ownership Of Goods

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Bankside Tackle until payment of all sums owing in respect to those goods has been received in full.
